About the neighborhood

Cleveland Park is a favored neighborhood for older age residents. Enclosed by the Wisconsin Avenue and 37th Street to the west, Cathedral Avenue and Woodley Road to the south, Upton Street and Tilden Street to the north, Beech Drive to the east, and Cathedral Avenue and Woodley Road to the south. Metro rail stations of Cleveland Park and Woodley Park and bus routes along Porter Street and Conneticut Avenue are its main means of transportation.  Historic Cleveland Park got its name in 1886 when President Glover Cleveland purchased a nd remodeled an iconic Queen Anne-style estate.
