Brightwood is a small laid-back neighborhood at the northwestern quadrant of Washington DC, which belongs to Ward 4. It is surrounded by the neighborhoods of Takoma, Shepherd Park, Manor Park, Sixteenth Street Heights, and Petworth. The Takoma Metrorail station is located near its north end, while the Fort Totten Metro station is located near other parts of Brightwood.
